Conversation starters for ChatGPT

Here are some things you can type into or just ask ChatGPT. I recommend starting the interaction with something like “Hi Chat” and ending them with something like “Thanks very much. See you later.”
You might think it’s silly to talk to a machine this way but it normalises that part of a conversation for you and makes the whole interaction feel more natural. It’s also nice to be nice!
There are five conversation starters per week. It’s up to you to continue the conversations with more questions and of course you should feel free to start more conversations.
The idea is that you practise as much as possible. Don’t worry too much about trying to understand the grammar rules – just notice how Chat corrects your sentences and try to use the new words and structures you learn in different conversations.
Talk about your interactions with your teacher, fellow students or anybody else … make sure you introduce a human element!
